Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA) Services

Get to the "root"
of cellular insights

The human body is a masterpiece of machinery:

1+ Million Biochemical Reactions Per Millisecond

20-30 Trillion Body Cells

How DPC Works

Medical_Care_02.png

DPC re-centers the doctor-patient relationship and helps keep healthcare costs lower by skipping the broken system of complicated and meager insurance reimbursements.

You pay an affordable monthly subscription to the clinic. In exchange, you receive direct access to a doctor dedicated to your ongoing, comprehensive health.

DPC doctors have smaller patient loads compared to traditional clinics (avg of 400 vs. 2,500*), so they can spend more time with you per appointment and offer deeper, more consistent management of health conditions.

People with and without insurance can participate in DPC memberships; however, DPC is a complement to and not a replacement for insurance or emergency services.

Various Salt Types

As your hair grows, it uptakes essential minerals that are needed for your body's 1+ million biochemical reactions per millisecond.

It can also store toxic heavy metals!

A Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA) test uses a sample of your hair to discover the unique levels of minerals and heavy metals in your cells over the last ~3-4 months of hair growth.

Minerals are the building blocks to:

  • Transport oxygen

  • Produce energy

  • Transmit nerve impulses

  • Contract muscles

  • Defend the body from illness

  • And more!

If you don’t get enough minerals in the right balance, then your cells may struggle to perform all the chemical reactions they need to at the right time, in the right amount, with the right substances.  If you are also exposed to heavy metals, these metals can “act” like a mineral and displace the essential minerals in critical processes, causing damage and stress. Toxins may build up at the cellular level, and nutrients struggle to get absorbed. Issues at the cellular level can then potentially scale up to affect the larger body. Like an increasingly tangled knot, the body can lay down layers of compensation strategies to “keep the lights on” as it paces toward burnout. The more time you’ve spent trying to compensate for an imbalance, the more knots to untangle.

FAQs

1. How do I pay?

You can pay in-person, online, or over the phone (if you ask our AI agent for the "front desk" during the call). Our HIPAA-compliant online payment link requires you to enter the amount you're paying and some basic identifying information to connect that payment to your chart.

2. If I pay online, what happens next?

The front desk will typically email you the official hair analysis order forms and instructions within 1 business day. If you have any questions or have not heard back after 1 business day, please call and ask our AI Agent for the "front desk." Purchases made over the weekend will be addressed no later than Tuesday morning (barring special holidays).

3. How is my consult scheduled once I pay?

All HTMA consults are scheduled manually by the front desk to account for your time to get a hair sample sent, and for our partner lab to complete testing. The front desk will use the phone number you provide during payment to schedule with you via a text and/or call.

4. If I am a new patient (never seen Dr. Davis before), what can I expect after paying?

We're excited to welcome you to our clinic! In addition to the hair analysis order forms and instructions, you will receive a second email with our e-sign digital intake forms. Please complete those prior to your consult with Dr. Davis.

5. Do I get a copy of my results?

Yes! Once we receive your report, we email you a copy. We typically send it ahead of your consult so you can review and prepare any questions for Dr. Davis.

6. Can I purchase if I live outside of Indiana or Ohio (where Dr. Davis has a license to practice)?

You can purchase an HTMA package, but Dr. Davis would need to see you in-person for the consult.

7. Can I come in for an HTMA consult and become a Direct Primary Care member?

Absolutely! We are still accepting patients for Direct Primary Care, and the HTMA package is a great way to get real-time care from Dr. Davis to determine whether you'd like to sign up. We also offer pay-per-service options as well.

Have other questions? Give us a call at 317-576-3211 and ask our AI Agent for the "front desk." If our front desk is not available, please leave a voicemail. We'll get back to you as soon as we can during standard business hours.
